We
first introduced our reproduction of the World regulator in 1981 for the
100th anniversary of Canadian Pacific Railway. The World has a long history
with many railroads and is widely recognized with its octagonal upper ring
and its long drop case.
Case
Constructed with
solid quarter sawn white oak, our World case is a tribute to the original.
Those who own our World Regulator often say that pictures don't do it justice.
Its soft lines and warm hand rubbed finish give it a glow that will warm
your kitchen, den, office or living room.
Movement
Pictured above,
the World movement is an eight day, key wound movement with a remote second
hand made exclusively for us, by Hermle in Germany. As with all our railroad
station clock movements the only sound you will hear is the peaceful tick-tock
as the pendulum sways through the center of the long case. It is a very
fine movement.. |
